Using 1point
- Click the Project Dashboard from the left sidebar or top-left logo.
- Create a new project or open an existing one.
- Use Upload Data → Upload Drillhole Data (for CSV-based collars, lithology, etc.) or Upload Geophysics (for LAS files).
Yes, you can easily create custom tables by navigating to Custom Tables on the left tab.
However, to make your data visible, you must include at least one standard/auto-generated table (e.g., the default “header” or “lithology” table).
- Edit / Modify the table in Advanced → Custom Tables (or click “Modify” next to the table name in the upload screen).
- Add any new columns you need.
- Return to the upload process and map your file’s columns to the newly added columns.
1point can store masses of data, but when uploading your data, the web interface can timeout or run out of memory if you try to upload excessively large sets at once. The simple solution is to break them into smaller batches of ideally 100 to 250 files per upload.
At the moment, you can’t directly “skip” a sheet. The system requires each discovered sheet to be mapped or left unmapped (and typically flagged).
So, if you want to skip a sheet, you can duplicate your Excel file on your desktop and delete any sheet you don't want included prior to uploading the file to 1point.
Simply open LAS Manager within 1Point, and you can rename or adjust curves there.
